ZEPHATHAH, or Sephata. The Valley of Zephathah near Mareshah, is mentioned in 2 Chron. xiv. 10. Perhaps this is the Vale that was near the City of Zephath or Hormah. Or, perhaps, it should be read Shephalah, instead of Zephathath. See SEPHALA.
