UZZI, Azzi, Uzi, or Ozi, Son of Bukki, the sixth High-Priest of the Jews, of the Race of Eleazar. He had Eli for his Successor, of the Race of Ithamar. It is not known how long Uzzi held the Priesthood, but we know that Eli entered upon this Office in the Year of the World 2848, before Christ 1152, before the Vulgar Æra 1156.
