To-Morrow

TO-MORROW, is used in Scripture indefinitely for any Time to come. For example, Exod. xiii. 14. Deut. vi. 20. Josh. iv. 6, 21. Josh. xxii. 24.when thy Son asketh thee in time to come; the Hebrew says, to-morrow. And, elsewhere, In time to come, your children might speak to our children; Heb. to-morrow. In the Style of the Orientals, to-day often signified the present Life, and to-morrow, the Life to come. Jesus Christ forbids his Disciples to trouble themselves about to-morrow, and tells them that the Morrow will take care for itself: For sufficient for the Day is the Evil thereof.
