Judg. xiv. 1, &c.1. TIMNATH, Timnah, Thamna, or Thamnatha, a City of the Tribe of Judah, Josh. xv. 10, 57. Judah went to the City of Timnath, when he met with Tamar, and committed Incest with her, Gen. xxxviii. 12. This City may well enough be the same as that which is between Jerusalem and Diospolis.
