- TAPPUAH, or Taphua, a City upon the Frontiers of the Tribe of Manasseh, but belonging to the Tribe of Ephraim. Josh. xvii. 8. This is probably the same as En-tappuah, in Josh. xvii. 7. called in the Vulgate the Fountain of Taphua.
