VIII. SHALLUM Son of Kore, 1 Chron. ix. 19, 31. He was spared in the Desart, when the Earth opened and swallowed up his Father, Numb. xxxi. 11. The Descendants of Shallum had an Office in the Temple, which was to take Care of the Cakes that were fried there.
