VI. SELEUCUS, Son of Antiochus Gryphus: He made War with his Uncle Antiochus Cyzicenus, overcame him, took him in Battle, and put him to Death1. Some time after, Antiochus surnamed Pius, Son of Antiochus Cyzicenus, came to Arade, took the Diadem, made War with Seleucus, defeated him, and drove him out of Syria. Seleucus retired in Cilicia, where endeavouring to raise large Tributes from the People of this Province, they would not submit to it; and revolting against him, they burn’d him and all his Friends in his Palace2.
