Saosduchin

SAOSDUCHIN. We think him to be the same who is call’d Nebuchodonosar in the Book of Judith. He succeeded Esar-haddon in the Year of the World 3336, before Christ 664, before the vulgar Era 668. He reigned twenty Years, and died in the Year of the World 3356, before Christ 644, before the vulgar Era 642. His Successor was Chinaladan, or Saracus. It is needless to repeat here what we have already said of this Prince, under the Articles NEBUCHADNEZZAR I. and HOLOFERNES.
