Ramath-Lehi

RAMATH-LEHI, or Ramat-lechi, or the Height of the Jaw-bone, or the Cast of the Jaw-bone. ‘Twas thus they call’d the Place where Samson threw the Jaw-bone upon the Ground, that he had taken up against the Philistines, and with which he had beat them. Probably, this is the same Syncel. Chronic. p. 101, 103.as the Place call’d Lehi, Judg. xv. 9.
