Just. l. 15. c. 2.PTOLEMY. All the Kings of Egypt, from Ptolemy Son of Lagus, to the Conquest of Egypt by the Romans, a bore the Name of Ptolemy. We have given a List of these Kings, and the Duration of their several Reigns, under the Article EGYPT. At present we shall give an Abstract of the Lives of those that are mentioned in Scripture.
