NEPHTOAH. The Fountain of Josh. xv. 9Nephtoah in the Tribe of Benjamin. Travellers are shewed a Fountain, which they affirm to be the Fountain of Nephtoah, near which there was formerly a Church dedicated to the Honour of John the Baptist, because it is believed that Zechariah and Elizabeth dwelt there, to whose Use this Fountain served.
