Nehel

NEHEL, or Nehelam, or rather Nahal. Shemaiah, a false Prophet of Judah, was of Nehelam. Jer. xxix. 24. The Word Nehelamith may signify a Dream. Thus Shemaiah the Nehelamite may signify Shemaiah the Dreamer. We know a City call’d Nahallal or Nahalol in the Tribe of Zebulun. Joshua xix. 15. See also Judges i. 30. Perhaps Shemaiah may have been of this City.
