MAGHBIS, or Magbish, or Megbis, Ezr. ii. 30. 1 Esd. v. 21. The Children of Magbish returned from the Captivity, to the Number of one hundred and fifty Persons. Megbis is probably the same as Megabyses; which is a Persian Name.
