LEBONAH. There is Mention made of Lebonah, Judg. xxi. 19. and it is there said, that Shiloh lies Northward of Bethel, and Southward of Lebonah. Maundrell° in his Journey from Aleppo to Jerusalem, takes it to be a Place called Chan-Leban, four Leagues from Sichem Southward, and two Leagues from Bethel.
