KOHATH, the Son of Levi, and Father Gen. xlvi. 11. Exod. vi. 18. Numb iv. 4, 5, 6, &c.of Amram, Jehar, Hebron and Uzziel. Kohath’s Family was appointed to carry the Ark and sacred Vessels of the Tabernacle, while the Israelites marched through the Wilderness.
