I. JABEZ. We find a man of this name in the Chronicles; but the Scripture, 1 Chron. iv. 9, 10.which very much commends his piety, does not tell us whose son he was. There are some who think him to be the son of Cos, or Kenaz; in which opinion there is nothing but what is very probable.
