Josh. xii. 13.GEDER. The King of Geder was taken, and put to death by Joshua. Geder is probably the same as Gedor, 1 Chr. iv. 39. and Gederoth, 2 Chron. xxviii. 18. Gedor, Josh. xv. 58. and Gazer, Gazera, or even Gadara or Gadera in the Maccabees. See above GADARA II.
