EPHRATAH, is a word we meet with in Psalm cxxxii. 6. to denote the Lot of Ephraim. Behold we have heard of the same at Ephratah. We have said elsewhere, that the Ark was at Shilo in the country which belonged to the portion of Ephraim. By Ephratæus is meant also one of the tribe of Ephraim. 1 Sam. i. 2. Jud. xii. 5.
