ELNATHAN, the son of Achbor, and father of Nehusta, who was the mother of Jehoiakim King of Judah. Elnathan was one of those, who opposed the King’s burning of Jeremiah’s prophecies. He was sent Jerem. xxxvi. 12. Jerem. xxvi. 22.into Egypt to bring back the Prophet Uriah, who had fled thither.
