I. ELIZAPHAN, the son of Uzziel, uncle to Aaron, and head of the family of Kohath. Moses commanded Elizaphan to remove the dead bodies of Nadab and Abihu out of the Tabernacle, who had been killed by fire from Heaven, and to carry them out of the Camp.
