I. EDREI, a town beyond Jordan, in the Tribe of Manasseh. It is called likewise Edræa and Adræa, and perhaps also Edera in Ptolemy, when he speaks of the towns in the Batanæa. Eusebius places Edrei at four or five and twenty miles Euseb. in locis.distance from Bostri, a town in Arabia, situated northward.
