Dositheus (I)

I. DOSITHEUS, who pretended to be a Priest, and of the Stock of Levi, brought Esth. xi.1.into Egypt the Epistle named Purim, that is to say, the Book of Esther translated into Greek1. We cannot well tell who this Dositheus was.
