DODANIM, the youngest son of Javan. Several in the Hebrew read Rhodanim, and believe that he peopled the Island of Rhodes. We have endeavoured to show in our Comment upon Gen. x. 4. that Dodanim is the father of the Dodonians, inhabitants of Dodone, and the places adjacent.
