CHELLUS, is a Canton in the Province of Palmyra, or it may be the same as Allush, a City in the southern part of Edom, otherwise called Eluza, or Chaluza: Eusebius and S. Jerom place Allush in the Neighbourhood of Petra, the capital City of Arabia Petræa.
