II. CAMON, a City beyond Jordan, in the Country of Gilead1. It is in all probability the same Camon as that mentioned by Polybius2, and taken by King Antiochus. Jair Judge of Israel was buried in the City of Camon, belonging to the Tribe of Manasseh, Judg. x. 5.on the other side of Jordan.
