Cadumim

CADUMIM. The Brook Cadumim is mentioned in Judges, Chap. v. 21. Many are of opinion, that this Brook ran from West to East, from the foot of Mount Tabor into the Sea of Tiberias. But we have no evidence of there being any such Brook in this place. Others think, Cadumim is only a synonymous term for the Brook Kishon: And there is nothing in the Scripture which contradicts this opinion. Torrens Cison traxit cadavera; torrens Cadumim, torrens Cison1. We know there was Judith vii. 3. in Syriaco.a City in these parts called Cadmon, mentioned in the Book of Judith, from whence the Brook Cadumim or Kishon might take its name. Eusebius speaks of a large place, called Cammon, in the great Plain, six Miles northward from Legio.
