BETH-JESHIMOTH. A City in the Tribe of Reuben. Joshua xiii. 20. It was afterwards possessed by the Moabites. Ezekiel foretold the destruction of this and Ezek xxv. 9.other Cities of Moab. Eusebius says, Beth- Jeshimoth is ten miles from the river Jordan. But it is very probable that he confounds it with Jeshimon, mentioned in 1 Sam. xxiii. 24. which lay on this side Jordan.
