I. BAALATH, in the Tribe of Simeon. It is that probably, which is mentioned in the enumeration of the Cities of Judah; and was yielded afterwards to the Tribe of Simeon. It is placed between Azem or Asemon, and Chasar-Sual; and so advanced very far towards Arabia Petræa.
