Apocalypsis (II)

II. APOCALYPSIS, or Revelations of S. Peter, an apocryphal Book mentioned by Eusebius1, and S. Jerom2, and cited by Clemens of Alexandria in his Hypotyposes3. Paul read upon Good-Fridays in the Church, when all the people fasted religiously, in memory of our Saviour’s Passion.
