Apocalypsis (X)

X. APOCALYPSIS or Revelation of Elias. S. Jerom tells us1, that the following passage of S. Paul to the Corinthians, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither hath it entred into the heart of man, to conceive what God hath prepared for those that love him, that these words, I say, are borrowed from the Revelation of Elias. Origen in his citation of them tells us2, that they are no where to be found but in the secret books of Elias.
