Anna (IV)

IV. ANNA, or Anno, or Thecemine, the Wife of Jeroboam King of Israel. The name of this Princess is not to be met with in the Hebrew or Vulgate, but in the Greek only. What we know of this Queen may be seen under the Article A-BIJAH, the Son of Jeroboam I. The Greek of the first Book of Kings says that Pharaoh King of Egypt married his Wife’s eldest Sister Thecemine to Jeroboam, while he abode as a Refugee in Egypt.
