ABIAH. Second Son to Samuel, and Brother to Joel. Samuel having trusted them with the Administration of publick Justice, and admitted them to a Share of the Government, they behaved so ill in this Employment, that they obliged the People 1 Sam. viii.to require a King of him. This happened in the Year of the World 2909. before J. C. 1191. before the vulgar Æra 1195.
