Sixtus of Siena, O.P. (1520–1569) · translated from the Latin of the Bibliotheca Sancta, Book VII

The author's name is also rendered Sixtus Senensis · Sisto da Siena · Sixtus of Sienna

The seventh book of the Bibliotheca Sancta: Sixtus's defense of the New Testament against those who have assailed its volumes — ten heresies, from the attacks on the New Testament in general through Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, the Acts, the epistles of Paul, Hebrews, the Catholic epistles, and the Apocalypse. For each: the heresy stated, its assertors named, the refutation, the heretics' objections, and their dissolution. In English for the first time.
