Question 214. Whether it is suitably said: In the womb?
QUAESTIO CCXIV. Utrum convenienter dicatur: In utero?
QUESTION 214. Whether it is suitably said: In the womb?
After these things inquiry is made concerning this which is said: In the womb 1?
And it seems to be superfluous, for every one conceiving conceives in the womb.
Solution. To this we say that this is the privilege of this conception alone. For all other women conceive into the womb; she alone conceived in the womb, because she conceived as a virgin.
