On the Passover Celebrated at Gilgal. (De Celebrato in Galgalis Paschate.) (opening)

The text describes the celebration of the first Passover after the crossing of the Jordan — from v. 10 to 13 — in two ways. First, by declaring precisely how they kept the Passover (v. 10); then, how [they kept] the ceremony of the Unleavened [bread] (vv. 11 & 12). And of the former, indeed, three [things] are handed down: first, [that] the Israelites in general kept the Passover; secondly, the time of this thing; thirdly, the place. And of the two former [it] was treated in Exodus; but some [things are] to be called [in] here.
