- ZORAH, a City belonging to the Tribe of Dan,a and the Birth-place of Samson. It was upon the Frontier of this Judg. xix. 41.Tribe and that of Judah, not far from Esthaal. Eusebius places it ten Miles from Josh. xv. 33.Eleutheropolis, towards Nicopolis, and not far from Kaphar-sorek.1 I think the Zorites, 1 Chron. ii. 54. and the Zorathites, 1 Chron. iv. 2. are the Inhabitants of Zorah.
