Ezek. xlv. 12. Judg. ix. 6.II. MILLO, a City near to Shechem. ‘Tis said in the Book of Judges, that the Inhabitants of Shechem, and those of the City of Millo, made Abimelech Son of Gideon King. The Hebrew Text reads, The House of Millo, instead of the City of Millo. Some believe that Millo was a Citizen of Shechem, or else some Part of this City; for in Palestine there is no City known by the Name of Millo.
