1 Kings xv. 2.III. MAACHAH, Daughter of Abishalom, Wife of Reboboam King of Juda, and Mother of Abijam his Successor. But in 2 Chron. xiii. 2. she is called Michaïa, Daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. In the Book of Kings the Mother may easily have been mistaken for the Daughter, by ascribing to each of them Abishalom as a Father.
