II. LUCIUS, of whom there is Mention made in the Epistle to the Romans, and who is Rom. xvi. 21.styled Saint Paul’s Kinsman, is, as some say, the same as Lucius the Cyrenian, of whom we have been speaking. But the Generality do with more Reason distinguish them. We know nothing of the Life and Death of this Lucius; unless it be said, that he and Saint Luke are the same Person; which to us seems very credible.
