LUBITH, a Place or Canton in the Isai. xv. 5 and Jerem. xlviii. 5.Moabites Country. Eusebius and Saint Jerom say, that Lubith is situated between the Cities of Ar and Zoar, and consequently to the East of the Dead Sea.
