JAmes Perizonius has one upon the Word Palace, or Prætorium, mentioned in chap. 1. ver. 13. In omni Prætorio, & in cæteris omnibus; which he explains of the Prætorium Bands incamp’d out of Rome. It was printed at Franekar, in 1690, in 8vo. We have spoken of him upon the Acts.
John Stepner, a German Lutheran, and Minister-General, has made an exegetical Dissertation upon chap. 11. ver. 1, 12. printed at Lipsick, 1650, in 4to. He died in 1659.
Christopher Augustus Heuman, whom we have spoken of upon the Gospel of St. John, wrote a Dissertation upon ch. 2. ver. 6. It is in the Bibliotheca Philologica, tom. 2. p. 580, 584.
