II. BEEROTH of the Children of Jaakan. It is spoken of in Deuteronomy x. 6. and Eusebius says, that this station of the Israelites was shewn ten miles from the City of Petra1. Moses in Numb. xxxiii. 31, 32. reads only Bene-Jaakan, instead of Beeroth-bene-Jaakan. Deut. x. 6.
