ATABYRIUS MONS. Mount Tabor. See TABOR. Upon this Mountain there was a City called Athabyrium, or Ithabyrium, mentioned by Polybius, l. i. p. 413. There are some Medals, on which we see Jupiter firnamed Atabyrius. But as there are several Cities of this name, it is not known exactly in which he was principally honoured.
