- AHITUB, the Son of Amariah, and 1 Chr. vi. 8.Father of the High-priest Zadok. It is not very certain whether this Ahitub ever exercised the office of High-priest, but we know he was Father to the High-priest Zadok, who enjoyed this dignity under David and Solomon.
