Ahio

AHIO, with his Brother Uzzah, were charged with the conduct of the Ark when David remov’d it from the house of Abinadab, in order to place it in the Tabernacle which he had prepared for it at Jerusalem. On this occasion it was that Uzzah was smitten by the Lord for presuming to touch the Ark when it was tottering upon the Cart that brought it. See UZZAH.
