Sermon XIV. On Blessed Matthias the Apostle, Conclusion
totius consolationis, qui consolatur nos in omni tribulatione nostra: videlicet per Spiritus paracliti intrinsecam unctionem.
3. Tertia est gloriosa remunerationis exspectatio. Unde II ad Cor. IV, 17: Id, quod in præsenti est momentaneum et leve tribulationis nostræ, supra modum in sublimitate æternum gloriæ pondus operatur in nobis.
Quod nobis, etc.
of all consolation, who consoles us in all our tribulation, namely through the inward anointing of the Paraclete Spirit.
3. The third is the glorious expectation of remuneration. Hence 2 Corinthians 4:17: That which in the present is momentary and light in our tribulation works above measure, in sublimity, an eternal weight of glory in us.
