XXXIX. Dominica undecima post festum Trinitatis, Oratio. Dixit Jesus ad quosdam qui in se condefidant tamquam justi 1. Domine Jesu Christe, ne peccem in te vel in proximum meum per mendacem usurpationem perfectionis, per extollentiam singularitatis, per temeritatem judicii, per jactantiam, et mendacium: doce me aspernationem mei, reverentiam Dei, vindictam peccati, formam perfectam poenitentiae, lacrymam et accusationem mei. Deus propitius esto mihi peccatori, ut per veram cordis, oris, et operis humilitatem, descendam justificatus in domum conscientiae, et exalter in domo gloriae. Amen.
XXXIX. Eleventh Sunday after the Feast of Trinity, Prayer. Jesus said to certain ones who condefidant in themselves as though just 1. Lord Jesus Christ, lest I sin against you or against my neighbor through lying usurpation of perfection, through haughtiness of singularity, through rashness of judgment, through boastfulness and falsehood: teach me contempt of myself, reverence of God, vindication of sin, the perfect form of penitence, tear, and accusation of myself. God, be propitious to me a sinner, so that through true humility of heart, mouth, and work, I may descend justified into the house of conscience and be exalted in the house of glory. Amen.
