XXXV. Seventh Sunday after the Feast of Trinity, Prayer
XXXV. Dominica septima post festum Trinitatis, Oratio. Cum turba multa esset cum Jesu 1. Domine Jesu Christe, miserere super turbam poenitentium, justorum, et perfectorum: in deserto peccati, animi, studii: per triduum contritionis, confessionis, satisfactionis: per victoriam mundi, carnis, et diaboli: per visionem corporalem, imaginariam, et spiritualem; per exspectantiam, veniam, gratiam, et gloriam. Refice poenitentes per discretam sollicitudinem, defensionem, indignationem, timorem, desiderium, aemulationem, et vindictam. Refice justos per spiritum timoris, pietatis, scientiae, fortitudinis, consilii, intellectus, sapientiae. Refice perfectos per tres dotes animae, et per quatuor corporis dotes, quae superexcrescent in septem sportas, in praesenti quidem in spe, in futuro autem in re. Amen.
XXXV. Seventh Sunday after the Feast of Trinity, Prayer. When there was a great crowd with Jesus 1. Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy upon the crowd of penitents, of the just, and of the perfect: in the desert of sin, of soul, of zeal; through the three days of contrition, confession, and satisfaction; through the victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil; through bodily, imaginative, and spiritual vision; through expectation, pardon, grace, and glory. Refresh penitents through discreet solicitude, defense, indignation, fear, desire, emulation, and vindication. Refresh the just through the spirit of fear, piety, knowledge, fortitude, counsel, understanding, and wisdom. Refresh the perfect through the three endowments of the soul and through the four endowments of the body, which will grow beyond measure into seven baskets, in the present indeed in hope, but in the future in reality. Amen.
