Latin (Borgnet)English
p. 164

QUAESTIO CVIII. Utrum sciverit Geometriam?

QUESTION 108. Whether she knew Geometry?

After this inquiry is made about geometry.

In sacred Scripture there are diverse measures and measurements: measures of the ephah, the bath, the cor, the modius, and similar measurements, as is clear in the tabernacle and in the temple 1. But the science of geometry and similar sciences concern things of this kind. Therefore sciences of this kind are necessary for theology 2.
