LII. Dominica vicesima quarta post festum Trinitatis, Oratio. Loquente Jesu ad turbas, ecce princeps unus adoravit eum 1. Domine Jesu Christe, adoro pedes misericordiae, et veritatis tuae, et deprecor ut vivifices prolem rationis meae ex transgressione juris naturalis mandatorum tuorum et votorum meorum mortuam per peccata, praevaricationem, et apostasiam. Restringe prius continuum fluxum sanguinis, concupiscentiam scilicet sensualitatis per humilem retro accessum, et per tactum fimbriae, passionis videlicet, et gratiae tuae. Ejice a domo conscientiae meae tibicines, laudatores, et adulatores, et omnes ad peccatum allicientes. Admitte tecum Petrum, cognitionem proprii defectus: Jacobum, resistentiam peccati: et Joannem, considerationem gratiae, et propriae conditionis, et originis, quae immunda est poenalis et imperfecta: per concursum, patrem et matrem, considerationem scilicet gratiae, et liberi arbitrii, tene manum animae meae ut resurgat a morte peccati. Amen.

LII. Twenty-Fourth Sunday after the Feast of Trinity, Prayer. While Jesus was speaking to the crowds, behold, one ruler adored him 1. Lord Jesus Christ, I adore the feet of your mercy and truth, and I beseech that you vivify the offspring of my reason, dead from transgression of natural right, of your commandments, and of my vows, through sins, prevarication, and apostasy. First restrain the continual flow of blood, namely the concupiscence of sensuality, through humble approach from behind and through touching the fringe, namely of your Passion and grace. Cast out from the house of my conscience the flute-players, praisers, flatterers, and all enticing toward sin. Admit with you Peter, knowledge of one's own defect; James, resistance of sin; and John, consideration of grace and of one's own condition and origin, which is unclean, penal, and imperfect; through the meeting, the father and mother, namely consideration of grace and of free choice, hold the hand of my soul so that it may rise from the death of sin. Amen.
